Julie's Flower Shoppe vase arrangement dated 2006 with pink liliums. Taken during the Piesta Minatay Celebration. Piesta Minatay is a play on the words "Fiesta" and "Patay", thus it means 'Celebration of the Dead'. In Bacolod, it is celebrated mostly on 1 November (which is All Saint's Day) rather than the more appropriate All Soul's Day of 2 November. This is because 1 November is always a holiday while 2 November may sometimes be a working day.

Welcome to Julie's Flower Shoppe
Established in 1976, Julie's Flower Shoppe is the oldest flower shop in Bacolod City. It has become an institution of Bacolod City.
It was established by Maria Julia Maglay Espiritu at the courageous age of 19 years. She later became Maria Julia Espiritu Hofileña after marrying Lawrence Daniel Crispin Locsin Hofileña.
The flower shop has steadily grown bigger since it was founded. It has merged art, innovation, and business savvy to become the leader that it is today.
Pictured above is a Julie's Flower Shoppe vase arrangement dated November 2006 with yellow spider mums.
